Feeding Therapy

Sometimes, children who are “picky eaters” actually have specific underlying challenges affecting one or more phases of eating. Feeding therapy from our licensed SLPs can help you understand which factors are affecting your child’s feeding and swallowing, and how these factors can be addressed in order to improve your child’s health, development, safety, and independence.

Children enrolled in our feeding therapy programs come to us with a wide range of conditions, including prematurity, Down syndrome and other congenital disorders, nervous system disorders, facial muscle weakness, sensory issues, and autism spectrum disorders.

School-Based Services

Our pediatric programs include OTs and SLPs are proud to offer school-based services for individuals and groups within academic and daycare settings throughout Manatee and Sarasota counties.

School-based services offer many unique benefits, from improving care access to enhancing the collaborative support of your child’s entire educational and health care team.
